I don’t know how to review this book because I feel that anything I could possibly say about it might be a spoiler. I highly recommend going in knowing nothing.
Just know that in my opinion We Can Never Leave This Place is a masterpiece of grief and horror. I will read anything and everything that Eric LaRocca publishes. This book was horrifying to read and this book was filled with my worst nightmares. There was so much depravity in this book, yet somehow Eric LaRocca managed to make it beautiful. Like I said, I really don’t know how to explain this one.
