Well, it is safe to say that I will never look at apple peelers the same way again...
I did not expect to like this book as much as I did. It was creepy, disgusting, and overall makes the reader squirm. Things Have Gotten Worse Since We Last Spoke is one of the most uncomfortable books I have ever read, and it did exactly what it was supposed to do.
Was it a pleasant reading experience? NOT AT ALL! But it isn't supposed to be, and that is what made this book so excellent. It is a creepy book that lived up to the terrifying cover.
