Review

Home Alone, but make it a slasher novel.

I went into The Perfect Victim with such high hopes. It was one of my most anticipated releases of the year. I am happy to say that it did not disappoint! This story is another brutal slasher from Sodergren, and it was an absolute page-turner! I have to say I love the female characters David Sodergren writes. If you enjoy horror with an element of revenge, then this is the book for you!

TW: Sexual assault, violence, and death

What I liked

- Katie was a fantastic character!

- It is an edge-of-your-seat Survival story mixed with a slasher.

- I flew through this one in a day.

What I didn’t like

- Katie in the first portion of the book (she is annoying at first but KEEP READING)
