Review

This book was a wild time, and I was here for it from the first page! This revenge story was so well done. Reading this book was addicting, and I could not turn the pages fast enough. It hooked me from the beginning, and I liked how it ended. The Perfect Ruin is a book that involves revenge, the elite, and many twists! This book was entertaining from start to finish.

Our two main characters are Lola and Ivy. Lola is a socialite who had a hand in ending Ivy’s life as she knew it, and now Ivy wants revenge. Both of these characters were fully developed. You knew their motivations, and you felt many emotions because of them. Things came together beautifully as secrets unraveled. Every character in this book has secrets, and you don’t fully trust anyone.

I loved Lola and Ivy's dynamic! The way they interacted with each other and the other secondary characters was on point throughout. Keke was one of my favorite secondary characters in a thriller. That girl was very intriguing, and I both loved her and hated her.

The socialite aspects of this book pulled me in. It was nice living through them as they spent an excessive amount of money.

I didn’t know much about the synopsis going into this, and I didn’t know where this book was going. I didn’t predict any of the twists, which was great!

The one criticism that I have for this book is it felt like the ending dragged a bit.

I recommend this to anyone looking for a diverse, light, and entertaining thriller!
