This book was AMAZING. I absolutely ADORED it. Every story for me just hit right and was five stars. The feeling it gave me was the end of summer/early fall vibes and really put me in the mood for spooky season. These stories were so diverse and there were so many different takes on folk horror. I have to say I may have found my favorite short story collection of 2023.
I don’t know how to pick my top stories, but I’ll try! Like I said, for me all of these stories were five stars.

I would consider this collection to be spookier and cozier than true horror with a lot of gore so please keep that in mind when deciding to pick it up! Perfect for those who want a lighter horror to read.
