Review

I LOVED this book. I read it in two sittings, and that rarely happens for me. The Forgotten Island had everything I want in a horror novel. The setting in Thailand was incredible. The characters were well developed and authentic. I spent the entire book rooting for some characters and others; I looked forward to their struggles. David writes fantastic unlikeable characters. The ending of this book was satisfying and something I didn't expect.

Read this story if you enjoy the following

💪🏻 A strong, foulmouthed, female protagonist who takes shit from no one.

🌴 Tropical vacations that go horribly wrong.

🕷 Monsters that make your skin crawl.

TW: Please note if you don’t usually read gory horror books then this might not be the book for you. It does contain body horror and I also want to give a trigger warning for sexual assault.
