Review
Love a good killer mermaid story! Honestly, I will love almost anything that includes killer mermaids, and this graphic novel was no different.
Sea of Sorrows is set in 1926 and follows a group of treasure seekers trying to track down a sunken U-boat. People start disappearing and there is also talk about whether the captain has the right intentions.
This graphic novel was relatively short, but it had blood, intrigue, and the art was dark.
While overall I did enjoy the dark art style, sometimes it was difficult to tell exactly what was being depicted. Because of that, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this for people who are new to reading graphic novels.
Overall, still a fun page turner about the horrors of war and the deep.
