Hi All! I have decided to start a new series on this website where every Sunday I talk about what books I finished during the week, what I am currently reading and, did I buy any bookish items.
This week was hectic work-wise, and I had a lot to get done to have a nice weekend of relaxation. Boy, did it pay off! This weekend has been bliss. I have done nothing but read my books and relax by the woodstove fireplace. I started two great fantasy books this weekend and took a break from the horror and thriller books I have on my TBR. I won't lie. I am starting to feel the Sunday Scaries kicking in. I love my weekends, and I dread all the work happening this week.

I am really enjoying this so far! It has been so nice to escape into a fictional world this weekend. It has been so difficult to put this book down!
The Inheritance Games
I started this last weekend, but Stolen Tongues captivated most of my reading time. Now that I have had the chance to go back to this one, I can't wait to see how it ends and continue with the series. How will I make it till August for book 3?!
Crescent City: House of Earth and Blood
I was skeptical starting this one. I enjoyed the ACOTAR series but haven't been as invested in Throne of Glass. The first seven chapters of this book have been great so far, and I am happy I decided to buddy read this, so I am held accountable.
