Review

Mouth Full of Ashes is a good, quick and fun horror novella that is a queer homage to Lost Boys.

I LOVED the first half of the book. The story started with a bang, and the study of grief and how people cope was fascinating. However, as we moved into the book's second half, it became too much like Lost Boys for me, and the romance felt like insta-love. I did enjoy the writing style of this book, and this will certainly not be my last book by this author!

I recommend this book if you enjoy horror novellas, vampires, books set in the '80s, and the movie Lost Boys.

This book is especially great if you are new to the horror genre. It wasn't too gory and was short and fast-paced!
