Review

This was such a fun, but highly claustrophobic read. Those that know me well know that my biggest fear on this Earth is caves. The idea of being underground is enough to make me nauseous and the thought of being buried or pinned by rocks… Don’t even go there. When I saw Hollow come across my feed, I knew I had to read it. Three seconds into this book and one of the lead characters is named Robyn… I have never read a book with my name (spelled my way and female) in my life. And it HAD to be in the book about horrors under the earth and going caving?

I read this book in one night and stayed up WAY past my bedtime. It was fun and felt like being in a movie. Hollow felt like The Descent and As Above So Below had a child. This book was full of twists and turns both literal and plot wise. Once I started reading, I was not going to be able to stop till I knew what was torturing these characters in the depths of the Earth.

💫What I liked💫

🖤The pace was super-fast.

🖤The description of the setting was detailed. I could feel myself squeezing through the tunnels with these characters.

🖤 Edge of your seat suspense.

🖤Creepy factors were sky high.

💀What didn't work for me💀

⛏️There were some editing issues.

⛏️Characters did not feel fully fleshed out.

If you do not suffer from claustrophobia, you will after finishing this book!
