General Thoughts

These books I think are for a very specific reader. Someone who has A. Read the books B. Played the video game or C. Saw the movie. I think you need to understand the lore of FNAF to fully enjoy these books.

I fall into camp C. I saw the movie and fell in love with it. I instantly wanted more content and while I enjoy video games, I am not an avid gamer. Graphic novels seemed like a good starting point and for the most part I was right.

I enjoyed the characters and the story, however, it definitely felt rushed in places. The art matched the story, and it held my attention. I expected it to be gory based on how dramatic the covers look, but that wasn't the case. I would categorize this as light horror.

All in all, these two books felt just ok, and I will not be continuing with the third. I would consider picking up the books to get more details and a better feel for the story.

Who would I recommend this book to? People who want more Five Nights at Freddy’s content.

Should horror fans put this on the top of their “to read” piles? Only fans of the FNAF franchise.
