Synopsis
"As a child, Chris Hooper dreamed of monsters. But in deep space, he found only darkness and isolation. Then on planet LV178, he and his fellow miners discovered a storm-scoured, sand-blasted hell - and trimonite, the hardest material known to man.
When a shuttle crashed into the mining ship Marion, the miners learn that there was more than trimonite deep in the caverns. There was evil, hibernating - and waiting for suitable prey.
Hoop and his associates uncover a nest of Xenomorphs, and hell takes on new meaning. Quickly they discover that their only hope lies with the unlikeliest of saviors..." Via Good Reads

Review
Alien: Out of the Shadows is a book that takes place between the movie Alien and Aliens.
This was such a fun time! The new characters were great, and the setting was horrifying. I read this book in one sitting because it
reads like a movie, and I am a sucker for books like that. The aliens are scarier than ever, making me quite confident that I never want to go into deep space. I am delighted to be here on earth, which no acid-for-blood monsters.
If you are a fan of the franchise, I highly recommend reading this book for people who know the movie series. If you have never experienced anything from the franchise before, you will be lost, and I don't think you would have the mental visuals needed to enjoy this book. You can tell Tim Lebbon is a fan of the franchise. No small detail was left out or overlooked.
I can't wait to read the rest of the trilogy!
